The Washington Island Art Association is sponsoring a new Art Show and Sale! This show is entitled “Art From Private Collections on the Island”, and the opening reception for this show is Sunday, August 18, at 4pm at the Art and Nature Center.

Fun with Watercolors Let your fears fade away and enjoy the excitement and spontaneity of watercolor. This class will help both beginner and experienced artist develop a passion for watercolor while learning new techniques and overcoming challenges. “Happy accidents” can sometimes make the most interesting painting so come with an open mind. Daily demonstrations will be followed by lots of painting time. Come paint with me here on Washington Island where there is an abundance of fascinating subject matter and a relaxed “Island-time” attitude.
